Recently I discovered that I could use my macro lens as a portrait lens! Yay Love the bokeh in the background. Gonne use this lens a lot from now on when doing portraits! ^^

Professionally: The photo is excellent, and gives a sense of calm, also the blurring of the background allows the portrait to stand out, although i believe the image would do well with some instability, move the model(s) in future cases away from the center of the photo. it would give a more movement feel to the image rather than a stand still pose photo which is far too common among photography students and amateurs, and i don't believe you are an amateur.
Ok, not going to try and defend myself because you are all right.
First: It was very hard to do because I was alone, had to use a tripod.
Second: I chose to crop it to put myself in the center cause i'm sick of the rule of thirds so I felt like breaking it.
Third: It is just meant as a normal portrait so that I could have a new ID. It was very spontanious. I've never used my macro lens for portraits before so I wanted to try it out before I started shooting it with any of my models.
Thank you for the critique though ^^

I like this picture very much, you are handsome :>. And I think the space above your head makes it appear great even though it's not in the rule of thirds ...juste, du är ju norsk. Jag hade kunnat skriva på svenska men... too late now X'D.
